In the calf, CCM uses molded HD foam, a lightweight tough material that has improved protection for maximum impact. The kneecaps use JDP material and have a removeable/adjustable comfort pad. The JDP kneecap construction helps to disperse impact force away from the knee joint. The shin cap is constructed with compress molded zotefoam and PE plastic with multiple ventilation ports for premium breathability. 

For the attachments, the FT6 Pro uses a two-strap system - an upper lock strap with comfort cushion and a length adjustable calf strap.
